Hyggero is an editorial magazine for Scandinavian interiors and modern living. We write about the rooms we work in, the corners we take coffee in, and the small number of objects worth keeping for a decade.
We started Hyggero because most of what is written about the home is written to sell something quickly. We wanted the opposite: writing that leads, and shopping that follows quietly, only when an object has earned the recommendation.
So we hold everything we feature to a single rule — could we picture it, scuffed and oiled and a little darker, still in the room in ten years? It is a demanding rule. It is also why the lists here are short.
The best rooms are edited, not decorated. We write to help you own less, and better.
Objects follow the story, never the other way around. Commerce stays quiet and honest.
We favour things that will still look right in ten years — and disclose our links plainly.
One quiet email a week — rooms we love, objects worth owning, and the ideas behind them.
